In the post, “Opening Our Minds,” I talked about how one of my sons had helped me open my mind to a particular type of music that I had considered as “bad”.  This music is rap/hip-hop.  My son had been drawn to this music for years.  I had initially really discouraged his listening to it, but as God helped me open my mind, I could see that God was leading my son in this direction.  As I said in the past post, it was through these experiences with him that I first learned to better understand worship.  As I continued this journey, God began to teach me about the Black Nation.  I learned of the great power of this nation and how much the adversary feared it.  I was shown how although we all believed them to be a free nation, they were oppressed under the society in which the Beast had formed around them.

Over the last few months, we have been visited by a number of messengers who have come to teach us of the Black Nation.  Two of these are Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Tupac.  Through these visitations, we learned how the adversary through the Beast had essentially built a false reality around the Black Nation to ensure that they never recognized their true strength or power.  We were also shown how each time a leader would rise among this nation—especially leaders perceived to have the power to unite the nation, they would be killed or discredited through calculated efforts by the Beast.  Martyrdoms would occur under the guise of gang violence to ensure the Black Nation or the world did not discern their devised oppression.

When I was initially listening to the rap/hip-hop music, I was taken back by some of the angry and rebellious tones of the music.  I felt these artists calling the Black Nation to rebel against government, society, etc.  As I pondered this, I was taught that the Black Nation had recognized their oppression, but they could not discern the source of it, as the adversary had hidden his efforts behind government and other aspects of society.  In their efforts to proclaim their oppression and inspire the Black Nation to rise up against it, they had expressed their rebellion against the only institutions they could see.

Recently, I was inspired to read Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech, “I have a dream.”  When reading it, the following quotes stood out.  Through this, I better understood the legitimacy of the Black Nation’s discontent and the need for things to be made right.

“It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.”

In the next paragraph of this speech, Dr. King instructed how the Black Nation should rise up to accomplish these things.

“But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.”

Last night I could not get the Black Nation out of my mind.  My son and I listened to music together, as we pondered.  This morning, as I awoke, I was again visited by a group of messengers who told me it was time to write to the Black Nation and invite them to recognize and rise out of their oppression.

To the Black Nation, we issue an invitation.  Come join the cause of The Higher Law and let us work together to break the oppression that is held over you and all of us.  This invitation is not new—many of your great musicians and leaders have been issuing this invitation for years.  Come learn of The Higher Law and this movement and the great things God desires to grant you, the Black Nation, and all of us.  I know through my experiences that He is tired of the oppression we all live under due to the false reality created by the adversary through the Beast.  As I was told this morning, “It is time for the Black Nation to rise up and become all that God designed it to be.”

A couple things that bother me Tupac, REALLY? Since he was such a wonderful role model. And why would a white man be called to heal a black nation? And if the black man is really oppressed, why Barack Obama, Oprah, Bill Cosby, Whoopi, Michael Jordan and so on…? I believe there are oppressed black people but I also believe there are oppressed white, asian, hispanic etc…
I too, enjoy good rap music but I wouldn’t call it worship or encourage my children to listen to it for spiritual growth.

After reading your articles I was very disturbed by what you tout as the “higher law”. You mention you saw Tupac in a vision and he gave you instruction as a heavenly messenger. Allow me to give you a history on Tupac ( which he probably didn’t reveal to you during his visitation!) His family was members of the Black Panthers in the late 60’s and 70’s. His mother, step father and other relatives spent time in prison for murder and other violent crimes. Tupac has followed in the traditons of his family as a murderer, rapist (which he spent time in prison for) larceny and being a gangster.
Tupac was also a follower and a student of Niccolo Machiavelli, who developed the political term Machiavellianism: meaning THE USE OF DECEITFUL TACTICS in politics. Machiavellianism is also a term that some social and personality psychologists use to describe a person’s tendancy to DECEIVE AND MANIPULATE others for personal gain. It is also one of the three personality traits referred to as the Dark Traid. Hum, sounds like Gadiaton and some things you are trying to accomplish.
I am a professional and a member of the LDS Church and I have some real concerns with your mental stability. Have any of your family memebers suffered from mental illness?
You have a calling as a father to teach your son correct principles and true doctrine. What you have now done is confused him with false doctrine and have informed him that somebody like Tupac( along with other rappers) is somebody to pattern his life after! It is now okay to commit crimes, rape, disrespect women and become a gangster. It is okay to be a martyr for something you believe in, like Tupac did for the Black Nation. Are you insane, this does not come from God this comes from Satan. You are on the verge of mind control, child abuse and losing your family. You should be turned over to the proper authorities like LDS Family Services, State Youth Social Services or your State Child Abuse Services.( I can help you with that, just tell me what state you live in) If he commits anything illegal and they find this blog you will be personally held liable for his actions!!! Didn’t you learn anything from the so- called prophet David Koresh incident?
You do not need to warn people about the Beast, if you look in the mirror, you will see him.

This invitation to the Black Nation is hilarious. I love MLK, Jr. and Tupac for sure. But seriously, more like consider this an invitation to exploit the black nation…again. I’m guessing your white right? Again, you will NEVER understand. The oppression you say we are under is the oppression we cause to ourselves. Ain’t need no white guy to run around promoting the higher law shiz around the hood!

Now come on, 2pac and MLK? Also the other songs from other artists? Dawg, these are for entertainment only. Marshall Mathers talks about this is his songs that they may rap about it but not do it. It’s all about money for them. Tupoc is the greatest rapper ever!!! But inspirational? Perhaps you got some messages from some of his songs but listen to all of his songs what does he talk about? Hennesy(whisky) killing people, intercourse with many women. He was a THUG!!! What was tatted on his chest? THUG LIFE. I’m guessing Biggie Smalls is going to visit you shortly. You have know idea about the Black Nation. You maybe think you do by listening to his songs but the getto boys care about one thing MONEY for drugs. How they own people that buy drugs from them. You really think they will listen to you a white man? bring a vest dawg. BTW don’t talk about your membership in the LDS church please!!! You are giving us a bad name and we striving to be faithful members can’t stand when you and your so called followers(famliy members) think you are better than the real leaders of the church. What do the articles of faith say, ” by the laying on of hands” How did Joseph get his authority?I can’t believe this is what is going on with you. Please go and inform your PRIESTHOOD leaders and give them this website and the things you claim are going on. Then go and speak with you Stake Pres. Good luck in the church council court. You and your family are good people but I’m afraid this has gone way to far and no matter what your thoughts are please be humble and listen to them and if not I’m sorry but you will no longer to say you are a member of the Only True church on this earth. Satan is very real and knows your strengths and weaknesses. BTW quit claiming this isn’t a religious movement and your not doing anything contrary to the teaching you were brought up with. I am sick to my stomach reading these things and know you. You are not the Prophet Joseph and have not seen visions from the true and living Savior it is the adversary and he is extremely smart. Don’t you think he knows what he is? Remember that Jesus is the head of his Church and has called the one and only true Prophet Thomas Monson to be his leader on this earth to guide us. He is the ONLY one to receive revelation for his people. He was called and given authority by the laying on of hands and set apart for this sacred calling. I hope you will take this to heart and take a look in the mirror to really see what is going on.

I have been in education for many years. I’ve been pondering the section on the message to the Black Nation and how Satan has kept this nation down. I have been in so many meetings in the past few years looking at test scores, and always, the african american kids and hispanic kids score lower on standardized tests. It’s especially prevalent in the south. Educators are at a loss and blame the family and the government keeps giving us initiatives to bring up test scores. So, this oppression of the black nation starts early in school. The one thing that gives us freedom is education and the one thing we are failing at is creating an equitable learning for kids of color. These kids are constantly kept in the bottom track of reading and math classes starting in first and 2nd grade. They never catch up and as a result, low achievement, drop-outs and early pregnancies resulting in the process repeating itself generationally.

I’m not sure how The Higher Law would work through school, I kinda get the gist for business, unless the power is given to the students? It could be pretty amazing. So let me know if you already have the answer to that one!
