I just created a new page called “Favorites.”  This page shares some of the movies, music, and books through which I have been inspired and taught regarding this movement.  That has been one of the neatest parts of this movement so far for me is to learn how much God has inspired individuals throughout the world in their creations.  So often, I have found His teachings and inspirations in the works of others.  I feel like I have spent a majority of my life to date blind to these things.  Now that I am trying to open my mind to this, I feel like I have found a whole new world of knowledge and inspiration.  Sometimes it feels like God has taken the truths of the universe and given each of us a piece.  When we fail to identify that piece in another individual, we miss the opportunity to learn that part of the truths God is trying to teach us.  As we are each inspired to communicate our piece of truth through our works, the creations of others give us the opportunity to learn their life lessons–the truths they learned through their own unique journey in life.

"Start Here" Page

As the content on the blog is increasing, we have added a “Start Here” page to give visitors a simple format to become familiar with The Higher Law.  For those of you who have been following the blog for some time, you may be interested in the basic timeline that is included on this page.

A Transition

We have now finished documenting a significant part of the history of The Higher Law.  We felt strongly that this would provide important context for people to understand this movement.  Although we will continue to post history entries from time to time, we are now going to transition to a new chapter where we will begin discussing the core principles associated with The Higher Law.

We will approach each of these principles through the eyes of logic as well as faith.  Each topic will include a combination of writings, diagrams and podcasts.  We invite all of you to join the conversation, as we study these important principles.

For those of you who already believe in the divinity of this movement, these principles will help prepare you for The Higher Law.  For those of you who are still trying to determine what you believe about this movement, these principles will give you the basic principles by which you can evaluate this movement and prepare to consider The Higher Law when it is published.

The first topic we will be addressing is the republic.  This is one of the core concepts of The Higher Law.  The republic and its underlying truths will provide a solid foundation from which we can expand into the other principles we will discuss.

Thank you to all of you who follow the blog.  We appreciate the opportunity to share with you the message of The Higher Law and the great movement it inspires.

Are You Crazy?

As any topic that discusses God and especially revelation can be very sensitive, I felt it was appropriate to better establish the purpose of society and structure of religion within a society for the purpose that we may have a common understanding.  We often see two different extremes in regards to religion’s role in society.  The first is secularism where God’s role is limited to religion.  The second is a modified form of theology where religion is the only conduit by which God directs all aspects of society.  Both of these are improper structures.  There is a proper balance between these two extremes where God directs all, yet religion is separate from state or any organization.

To better understand this, we must first recognize that the only entity in a society that has any rights is the individual.  Each individual has been given unalienable rights from God, which include life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness.  Society can be defined as the moral, economic, social, and legal structure that surrounds communities and the interactions of individuals.  You will notice that religion is not one of the four pillars of society.  That is because religions, like governments, are organizations within society.

All organizations receive their rights from their people.  This is according to the republic model.  In the republic model, the executive branch represents the membership of an organization and is the branch of power.  Without power, which comes from the consent of its members, an organization has no rights to pursue its purposes.  Each organization is responsible to define its purpose, its membership requirements and responsibility, its governance, and its provisions for amendment and dissolution.  Each potential member then has the opportunity to evaluate these elements of the organization and decide whether or not to join.  Through the consent of those members who elect to join, the organization obtains its power.  This organization is then subject to the four pillars of law of society.  Thus, even the most inspired religion or government has no rights except those given to it by its people.  Even God, with all of His power and wisdom, honors this model in the government of all His creations.

Based on this, any organization is subject to the four pillars of law of society.  However, an organization is not subject to the laws of another organization, unless the individuals within that organization collectively give their consent to another organization.  I would ask you to use these principles when evaluating The Higher Law.  The Higher Law will eventually create an organization.  The purpose of this blog is to establish the purpose, membership requirements and responsibilities, governance, and the provisions for its amendment and dissolution of this organization.  Any individual who desires can as a potential member evaluate whether or not they would like to give their consent and join the organization.  Obviously, each individual has every right to elect not to join.

Because this organization is not a religious organization and is not governed by a religious organization, it is not subject to the creed of any one religion.  Thus, I would request that the discussions on the blog not focus on comparing the organization proposed by the Higher Law with the creed of a single religion.

I am a member of the Mormon Church and am grateful for my membership in this organization.  I have benefited greatly from my membership in this organization and have learned the essential role of religion in my life and the lives of my family.  I have given my consent to be a member of this organization and have agreed to its purpose, requirements and responsibilities, governance, etc.  Because of this, I am accountable for these things.  However, this accountability is between me and those with governing responsibilities within that organization.  This is the same for any other member of the organization being proposed by The Higher Law.

I respect each individual’s right to apply whatever criteria they choose in evaluating whether or not they would like to be part of this proposed organization; however, I would ask each person to be conscious that this organization is subject to the four pillars of society, and not subject to any other organization within that society, other than the governments to which it will give its consent.

I appreciate the time that each of you have spent in reading and commenting on the blog.  I hope that with this common understanding, we may change the paradigm of our discussion to focus on the purpose of this blog—giving each individual the opportunity to evaluate the purpose, requirements and responsibilities, governance, and requirements for amendment and dissolution of the organization proposed by The Higher Law.  Thank you.

Today is January 18, 2010 and is Martin Luther King Day.  I was instructed by God that the blog was to be started on this day, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream was given to him by God and is the hope that God has for each of us and this world—it is a dream of equality, a dream of freedom, a dream of hope that the people of the world may rise up together to unite their unique talents and experiences to do great things and accomplish the great purposes God has designed for us individually and as a world.

Today is the day in which The Higher Law is announced to the world and the day in which God commences his great movement among His children to unlock the hearts and minds of each of us as we rise up together to build a great world economy based on the principles of The Higher Law.

I was called to translate The Higher Law in August of 2008, and after a period of preparation began the translation in August of 2009.  As of today, we have translated 42 characters yielding over 90 pages of text.  According to the instructions we have received from God, we expect to publish The Higher Law on June 21st of this year.

To this point, the message of The Higher Law has only been shared with those who we have been instructed to tell.  However, it is now time for this great work to be proclaimed to the world.  For now, this blog will be the primary medium by which the message of The Higher Law will be shared.

Specifically, this blog will seek to accomplish the following three purposes:

  • Teach the World a Higher Law – Prior to the publication of The Higher Law, this blog will serve as a preparation for all of us in preparing our minds for the greater truths that are contained in The Higher Law.  After it is published, this blog will serve as a place for us to continue learning together and further the propagation of its message throughout the world.
  • Reveal the Craft of the Adversary – The adversary has created a false reality that blinds all of us to the realities of his plans and our bondage.  In this blog, many aspects of his craft will be revealed.
  • Invite All to Join This Great Cause – This blog will serve as a great invitation to all of us to get involved and rise up to accomplish the great things God has designed for us.

So let the journey begin as we learn together the great things that God has planned for us, as His children, through The Higher Law.
